I had the most wonderful time reading to the grade 1 children at WAB in their enormous and fantabulous library.

The children had been studying authors and illustrators, and it was thrilling to hear the fascinating questions from these very bright children.

One class had even written and illustrated their own books based on the structure of Riley and the Sleeping Dragon.

What a joy it was to read to the kids at the stunning 3e Kindergarten in Beijing.

Just take a look at the stunning welcome poster they made for me (above) with their handprints all over.

The children made paperchain clouds and red paper aeroplanes for my visit, and were so attentive and fun. We had a really good giggle at one stage!

Yin Yang Reading and Discussion of Beijing Tai Tai

I was absolutely delighted to have an intimate reading of Beijing Tai Tai at the Yin Yang Center in Shunyi.

It was such a lovely bunch of women. We talked Tai Tai stuff and learned more about each other, had a giggle and a cup of tea...

A book signing and book perusing. Just lovely.

Even newly created babies were in on the fun...
